Engagement Shoot

The engagement shoot takes place four to six weeks leading up to your day where we creative relaxed and fun portraiture. I encourage you to bring along your ideas and share your thoughts on the photography you like so we can combine this into the session. This will set the style of the shoot. For example, you may want to have it with your young children or a themed engagement shoot like 1970′s or based on a idea you have. Alternatively you may just want to have some quality portraiture of you both before the day. We will use the shoot to build a rapport between us and get you used to having a camera pointed in your direction. We can use the opportunity after your session to walk around the wedding venue in preparation for the day. Here you can ask for advice and tips from my experience shooting past weddings. Alternatively, we can explore and shoot in a place of significance to you both or somewhere completely different depending on what you like and where you feel inspired.

After viewing the final photographs on this site, you will be able to choose one image which will be framed and displayed for your guests to see on the day. I work with Ultimat Frames who design and manufacture stunning frames and mounts for the Fine Art and Photographic Industry. The sample available below is available to view when we meet.
